The Reason We Sing
‘Tis the season for singing. Finish these lyrics for me:
“Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell…”
“Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer had a very Shiny…”
“I’m Dreaming of a White…”
‘Tis the season for singing, and I have a song I want to teach you today during the sermon. It’s a good song to sing at Christmas. I’ll sing it a few times during the sermon, and then we’ll do it together at the end. It’s the first song of Isaiah, and the refrain goes like this:
“Surely it is God who saves me. I will trust in him and not be afraid for the LORD is my stronghold and my sure defense and he will be my savior” (Isaiah 12:2).
