What We Believe

God

We believe in one God who is the eternal and glorious Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign Ruler over all of creation and its creatures. God eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Jer. 10:10; Matt. 28:19, 3:13-17).

Bible

We believe that God wrote the Bible through men without error and that it is the ultimate authority in our lives. Thus, we believe the original manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments are inerrant. We seek to have the Bible be the dominant voice in all of our groups and gatherings (Psa. 19:7-11; Isa. 40:6-8; Matt. 24:35; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; Heb 4:12).

Creation & Fall

We believe that God created everything out of nothing and it was very good as God and humanity had joyful fellowship together. God created all humans in His image, and He created them uniquely male and female. We believe that our first parents Adam and Eve sinned, thereby suffering not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. We believe that all human beings are born with a sinful nature (Gen. 1:1-31, 3:1-13; Rom. 5:12; Ez. 18:4; 1 Cor. 15:22; Rom. 5:18; Eph 2:1; Psa. 51:5; Matt. 15:19).

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became fully man, lived a perfect life, died on a cross as a substitute for our sins, and physically rose from the dead to become sinful humanity’s only way to be made right with God (Acts 4:10; Phil 2:5-11; Luke 23:26-24:53). We believe that Jesus will return to earth to judge all people and to reign with His people forever in a New Heaven and New Earth (Rev 22:12; 2 Tim 4:1).

Salvation

Though all humanity deserves his wrath, God purposed to show grace to His children whom He loves. We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Rom. 3:21-26; Eph. 2:1-10; John 3:16).

The Church

We believe that the Church is a spiritual community made up of all believers everywhere for all time (Eph 1:22-23; 5:25-27; 1 Cor 12:12-14). We believe in the autonomy of local churches and recognize believers’ baptism and the Lord’s Supper as its two ordinances (Acts 13:1-4; 15:19-31; 1 Peter 5:1-4; Matt 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-47; Acts 18:8; 1 Cor. 11:23-34).

Grace Fellowship

The grace of God displayed in Jesus Christ gives believers sweet fellowship with God and with each other in the local church. We warmly invite you to join us.
